Beta Cafe

Boo's yummy tomato dolma (vegetarian) and my salmon quinoa salad at Beta Cafe in Ramat Aviv. We don't make it there quite so often (as if it's far away) but we're happy every time we go.

Fresh Lemonade

Israelis have a thing for lemonade. Maybe it's the heat, or the abnormally large and luscious lemons all-year-round, you can find lemonade on every corner of Tel Aviv. Although, the ingredients are questionable (and the lemonade itself too sweet for my taste), we opt for the home-made version.

Molly Bloom's

The best fish and chips in town (although it doesn't resemble the real thing in the UK much), decent burgers and Guinness. Avoid Friday afternoons unless you're into Irish folk, but aside for that, your perfect neighborhood Irish pub - visit nephew Leo as well.

Abu Hassan

Anyone living in Israel knows that Israelis take their hummus seriously. Abu Hassan in Yaffo, where they serve the king of all hummus (I still refuse to eat it), at 8 o'clock in the morning.
