Yet Another Ode to Coffee

...because we never have enough.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Believe me, I do get the irony of a Turkish girl living in Israel getting a little too excited about Christmas, but it just is the case. As December is fast approaching, decorations, menus and wardrobe preparations are on the way. Sadly this year, I'll be celebrating the holidays with out my favorite Christmas buddies - who are leaving for a new life in Australia. We'll miss you loads Gil & Dafna.

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It's free of religious jibber jabber and all about sitting down with family and enjoying a nice - albeit early - dinner and reminding yourself what you're thankful for.

So here's a few things I'm thankful for lately...

1. Boo & Pixel and our little family.
2. My family and Kyra.
3. Beautiful blue skies and sunsets of Tel Aviv and the beach.
4. Cappuccino and mini brownies at Espresso Bar, our second home.
5. Dirty Martinis, whenever I can get my hands on them.
6. Juicy new oil paint and brand new set of brushes.
7. Colorful balloons marking a celebration at La Chouffe.

Midnight Coffee Run

...because we drink coffee and have mini brownies when we can't sleep.

Life, Lately...

Magnets collecting on our door...
Yummy home made coffee... Little brother getting engaged on the beach...
Painting tiny paintings for my Etsy shop...
Pixel doing a love dance under my feet...
Marking the beginning of fall with (losing and) finding Pixel in Noam's sweater drawer...
It's that special time of the year here in Tel Aviv: finally it's cold enough to put on a sweater.

Espresso Bar

Anyone who knows me knows I adopt coffee shops where ever I live.
Since we moved to north Tel Aviv, it's Espresso Bar.
Deemed by many as the best coffee in (and out of) town, it's one of our daily hang-outs.

Vintage Love

One day, I want one of these things parked in front of my building - hopefully avocado green.
