Love, Jerusalem

Over the holidays, we had the chance to go to Jerusalem for a day trip with friends. First stop of our trip was a beautiful Ethiopian church.

Kibbutz Tzuba

We recently went to the Kibbutz Tzuba for a friend's BabyCue (barbecue instead of a baby shower - gotta love Israelis).

Dizi at Kikar Dizengoff

Laundromat/Cafe at Kikar Dizengoff where you can wash your clothes, have great coffee, breakfast all day long, surf the net and watch movies.

Vertical parking dude who was lucky enough not to get a ticket, and store called wedgie.

Good food, exceptional coffee, some shopping, walking along the canal, and an unavoidable run in with Turks.

Those Crazy Turks...

Gotta love a Turk that puts an evil eye bead at random places - Istanbul Ataturk Airport, passport control counter.

Wall art from restaurant we had dinner on Friday night at one of the Ramat's; I forget which one, as I'm still new and somewhat lost outside of Tel Aviv.

Breakfast at Buono's. Again out of town, yet barely 15 minutes away (I love Israel for that, short distances between immense diversity of culture and land).

All in all, a culinary marathon of a weekend.
